Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules that apply when using the Muslim Souls website, mobile application, matchmaking services and related services.

Muslim Souls is a Muslim marriage and matchmaking platform intended to help adults seeking a genuine marriage partner. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use Muslim Souls.

Users must not create accounts on behalf of anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly attempt to communicate with minors through the platform.

2. Genuine Marriage Intentions

Muslim Souls is intended for people genuinely seeking marriage.

You must not use the platform:

• Primarily for casual dating, sexual encounters or "hook-ups".
• To seek or offer sexual services.
• To advertise escort or adult services.
• To deliberately mislead other members regarding your intentions.

3. User Profiles

Information provided on your profile must be accurate and genuinely represent you.

You must not:

• Create a fake or fraudulent profile.
• Impersonate another person.
• Use another person's photographs without permission.
• Provide deliberately false information about your identity, age, marital status or other important personal information.
• Create multiple accounts to deceive, harass or circumvent a suspension or ban.

Muslim Souls may request identity or other verification where reasonably necessary.

4. Messaging and Communication

Members may communicate through the Muslim Souls platform where the relevant matching and messaging features permit them to do so.

Users must not use messaging to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate or abuse another person.
• Send sexually explicit messages or images.
• Send unwanted repeated messages.
• Send spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Request inappropriate photographs or content.
• Promote illegal activities.
• Attempt to manipulate, pressure or financially exploit another member.

Muslim Souls does not permit credit-based chat or pay-per-message services. Where messaging is available as part of a membership or platform feature, users are not charged for individual messages.

5. Sexual and Inappropriate Content

Muslim Souls does not permit sexually explicit or pornographic content.

Users must not upload, send, publish or request:

• Pornographic material.
• Nude or sexually explicit photographs or videos.
• Sexually graphic messages.
• Content promoting sexual services.
• Material involving sexual exploitation.
• Any sexual content involving a person under 18.

Any suspected child sexual abuse material will be treated extremely seriously and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

6. Harassment and Abusive Behaviour

Users must treat other members respectfully.

The following behaviour is prohibited:

• Bullying or harassment.
• Threats of violence.
• Stalking.
• Blackmail or coercion.
• Abusive or intimidating behaviour.
• Discriminatory abuse.
• Hate speech.
• Deliberately humiliating or degrading another member.

7. Fraud, Scams and Financial Exploitation

Users must not use Muslim Souls to commit fraud or financially exploit another person.

This includes:

• Asking members to transfer money as part of a scam.
• Investment or cryptocurrency scams.
• Pretending to experience an emergency to obtain money.
• Romance scams.
• Fraudulent business opportunities.
• Requesting banking passwords, PINs or other security credentials.
• Attempting to obtain money through deception.

Users should exercise caution before sending money to anyone they have met online.

8. Illegal Activity

You must not use Muslim Souls to promote, arrange or participate in illegal activity.

This includes using the platform to distribute illegal goods, facilitate crime, threaten another person or distribute unlawful content.

9. Advertising and Commercial Use

Unless Muslim Souls has expressly authorised it, members must not use the platform to:

• Advertise businesses or services.
• Recruit customers.
• Send promotional messages.
• Conduct mass marketing.
• Collect member details for commercial purposes.

10. Privacy of Other Members

Information obtained through Muslim Souls must be treated respectfully and confidentially.

Users must not:

• Publish another member's private information without permission.
• Share private conversations publicly without a legitimate reason.
• Distribute another member's photographs without consent.
• Collect or scrape member data.
• Sell or commercially exploit information obtained from the platform.

11. Platform Security

Users must not:

• Attempt to hack or gain unauthorised access to Muslim Souls.
• Circumvent security controls.
• Introduce viruses, malware or harmful software.

• Attempt to access another user's account.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service.

12. Reporting Inappropriate Behaviour

Users are encouraged to report behaviour that they believe breaches this policy.

Reports may include concerns regarding:

• Fake profiles.
• Harassment.
• Inappropriate or sexual content.
• Fraud or scams.
• Threatening behaviour.
• Underage users.
• Misuse of the messaging system.

Muslim Souls may investigate reports and take appropriate action.

13. Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe that a user has breached this Acceptable Use Policy, Muslim Souls may take action including:

• Issuing a warning.
• Removing content.
• Restricting messaging or other functionality.
• Temporarily suspending an account.
• Permanently terminating an account.
• Preventing a user from creating another account.
• Reporting suspected illegal activity to relevant authorities where appropriate.

We may take immediate action where necessary to protect our members, the platform or the public.

14. Memberships and Messaging

Muslim Souls may offer both free and paid membership plans.

Paid membership may provide access to additional platform features or benefits. Muslim Souls does not operate a credit-based messaging system and does not charge users on a pay-per-message basis.
